HISTORY

Resort 2 Me began in Monterey in 1986 as a meeting planning and group reservation service. Eventually, the need for a service that would help individuals became apparent and the focus of the business gradually changed. Resort 2 Me became a sole proprietorship in 1989, owned by Gloria McPherson, then a Limited Liability Corporation in 2007 owned by Gloria McPherson and her son Travis McPherson. Resort 2 Me is a member of the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, the Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Carmel Chamber of Commerce, the Carmel Valley Chamber of Commerce, and, Gloria McPherson sits on the board of the Monterey County Hospitality Association.
